Dawn holds dual titles in publishing— book publicist and literary agent. She is affectionately known as The Literary Lobbyist and the host of Book Banter TV, a cool interactive show about authors and their books. Since 2002, Dawn has used a multi-layered approach to helping authors build platforms that propel their book brands and writing careers.
She is an empowering conference speaker, sharp workshop facilitator, and highly engaging podcast guest sharing industry truths that empower novice writers. Her body of work includes working with self-published and traditionally published authors of fiction, non-fiction, sports narratives, children’s books, poetry, and memoir.
Why a bootcamp versus the 1-day intensive conference we did in 2019 and 2020?
Answer: There is so much information to learn and understand. The majority of writers get overwhelmed and aren’t given the opportunity to ask questions, workshop their content and get feedback.
It truly takes a village to publish and promote successfully. This bootcamp offers a weekly opportunity to connect with other writers who are on the same road to creating a book, building a tribe and getting professional and peer feedback.
Taking place during National Novel Writing Month, this bootcamp will offer intensive guidance on how to work-out your day-to-day publishing challenges and concerns so you can successfully move forward with your project.
