Promoting children’s book is actually pretty fun when you plan.
While children’s books are for young readers your promotions must reach the adults in their lives. In this session, you will learn how to connect with younger readers and their guardians to garner sales, speaking engagements, and press for your children’s book whether you are self-published or with a traditional publisher.
Have you ever been told you should really write a book? If yes, then lets’ dive into the best practices to create the book you were born to write. Writing about your life is not easy but if you choose this path you must have an understanding of what makes a good memoir. In this session, you will learn to conceptualize your idea and then pitch your story to literary agents, media outlets, and speaker’s bureaus.
All sessions will be recorded via Zoom and the link delivered 24 hours after each session ends.

She is affectionately known as The Literary Lobbyist and the host of Book Banter TV, a cool interactive show about authors and their books. Since 2002, Dawn has used a multi-layered approach to helping authors build platforms that propel their book brands and writing careers.
She is an empowering conference speaker, sharp workshop facilitator, and highly engaging podcast guest sharing industry truths that empower novice writers. Her body of work includes working with self-published and traditionally published authors of fiction, non-fiction, sports narratives, children’s books, poetry, and memoir.

No. If you are interested in individual sessions, you can purchase tickets separately however the better value is in the full Bootcamp. You must purchase the ticket no later than 5pm ET on the day of the session.
If you want to purchase a ticket for an individual session please do so by 5pm ET on the day of that session. If you are unable to attend you will still receive the replay within 24 hours of the sessions’ end.
